First Tee – Miami is a proud partner of the Sandra DeLucca Development Center!

The Sandra DeLucca Developmental Center, a Division of the City of Miami’s Parks and Recreation Department has been delivering recreational, leisure, and daily living skills programs for children and adults with a variety of disabilities since 1973. Programs are available for the participation of all persons with disabilities within the City of Miami and Miami-Dade County. The Sandra DeLucca Development Center provides life and job skill training for disabled children and adults, special events, and developmental therapy.  The participants are encouraged through social interactions and foster an environment that exposes them to new experiences and opportunities on a daily basis.

We at First Tee – Miami along with the city of Miami participate in many of the events at Sandra De Lucca Development

GET FIT

The “Get Fit” program allows special needs adults to learn the game of golf and to become productive members of society.  The adults are trained to manage themselves on and off the golf course.

The Annual Golf Classic

Our annual fundraiser is a Golf Tournament held at First Tee – Miami. This event provides a way for community leaders and supporters of the disabilities division to gather and raise money for a worthy cause. Funds raised are used to purchase the most needed equipment, supplies, and fund programs at our division and in other park locations.

Among the programs available are Adult Day Training Program, SUMMER CAMP, MAGIC Miami’s Accessible Guide to Inclusion in Our Community, and Project SEARCH Miami.
